Automating external blinds is even easier with the Somfy Sunea 40 Solar io system.
This complete system consists of a motor, a battery and a solar panel. It can automate the control of external blinds without any connection to the mains. This makes the system easy to install; no need for any cabling or power cord through the outside wall, saving considerable installation time.

Somfy offers a 7-year warranty on the entire system: motor, solar panel and battery. With an output of up to 10 Nm, this motor is suitable for motorising small and medium-sized screens, drop-down shutters and awnings.
The efficient system is fully powered by daylight and can operate up to 30 days without daylight.
The solar panel captures daylight and powers the battery. The battery can be used immediately after installation, as it is delivered fully charged. It is not integrated into the motor and can be easily replaced if needed. To read out the battery status, refer to the TaHoma pro app or Serv-e-Go, where you will find all relevant information from the system. The motor's soft start and stop function ensures a long life for the system and the blinds.
